America's HOPE was organized to assist families in achieving home ownership.
The key element of resolving America's housing challenge is helping families to qualify for permanent re-financing of a home. In 2011, it was reported that approximately 70%+ of families seeking home financing were declined. The three dominant criteria for failure were: 1) Unacceptable credit scores, 2) Insufficient trade lines in their credit histories, and 3) Inadequate source and/or seasoning of funds for down-payment and closing costs.
America's HOPE program is designed to overcome these challenges for families who are willing to learn and take the steps necessary to qualify for home ownership. Home buyers and families do this by becoming a Member of the America's HOPE, where they receive the education, guidance and support necessary in meeting the permanent re-financing requirements of home ownership.
America's HOPE is a dba (doing business as) under the name of REAM Services, LLC, a Utah Limited Liability Company, with its Registered Office located in St. George, Utah. The company offices are located at 1614 N. Great Basin Dr., St. George, UT 84770.
The two Managers of the Company are:
LaVelle Prince, who is serving as the Chief Executive Officer. He has an extensive background in real estate, construction, government and community affairs. He is a graduate of the Western Governor's University with a BS Degree in Business Management. Mr. Prince is a licensed Real Estate Agent affiliated with Equity Real Estate -St. George, UT. Mr. Prince was a Certified Residential Appraiser for 18 years. During that time, he worked as a Staff Appraiser for Key Bank of Utah and a Review Appraiser for several national mortgage companies. He also worked for several years as the Contract & Construction Manager for Elite Housing, LLC, and was General Manager of Cavalier Homes, Inc., with a specific focus on construction loan administration and subcontractor oversight. Mr. Prince was elected as the first Mayor and CEO of the City of Taylorsville with a population of over 60,000+ residents. He initiated a unique approach to government service by creating an "all contract" municipality: outsourcing all police, fire, garbage, and other major services while administering a $14 million budget. He performed all contract negotiations and oversight, supervised all financial and management processes, including extensive budgeting and strategic planning, and served as the Vice Chairman for the Salt Lake Valley Conference of Mayors. He was also a member of the Legislative Committee's Utah League of Cities and Towns. Mr. Prince's numerous memberships include Board Member of Valley West Chamber of Commerce, Valley West Rotary club, Boy Scouts of America, and numerous service positions.
Trello Prince, is serving as the Chief Operating Officer. He brings a profound level of expertise in banking, financial analysis and management experience to the Company. After receiving his degrees in Finance and Management from the University of Utah, cum laude, he served professionally as a vice president in the United Banks System, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, where his responsibilities included supervising all real estate transactions, including management of six loan origination branch offices. Mr. Prince also served as Vice President of The Arizona Bank. During his tenure with the banking industry, Mr. Prince was responsible for loan portfolios in excess of 150 million dollars; he was approved as a FNMA delegated underwriter and was approved as a FNMA/FHLMC appraiser. After making a transition from banker to consultant, he has been directly involved in evaluating and creating many significant development projects and growth-oriented companies. Mr. Prince has recently completed his 39th year of service with the Boy Scouts of America, where he currently serves as an Assistant District Commissioner.
